Calandra Lynn

I've had my heart set on this name for years for a little girl. My fiance hates it though! He said if I really wanted we could name a little girl Calandra Lynn, but I don't want him to not like the name of his own child, lol
He came home the other day & was like, "Everyone I've asked thinks it's a weird name, too!"
(This is the man who asked if we could name our son Leonidas. And I'm not sure he was joking.)

Personally, I don't think either is taboo. Calandra means "singing bird," and I think that with Davis as the last name, it'll even out the uncommon-ness of Calandra.

What do you think??

p.s. I think he decided he likes Benjamin for a boy now lol

Calandra is different. Different is good, though. You can guarantee that nobody else will have that name while she's growing up! What if you compromise with a middle name he likes? The likelihood of him actually calling her by her name is slim. He'll probably have a nickname for her anyway.

I think this is funny because this is actually my name. Calandra Lynn..... I go by Callie most of the time though...lol
