I know what you're going through! When I was pregnant with my twins, especially after 20 weeks my belly would itch so terribly! I think it was because the skin was stretching so much and so quickly. Sometimes I would scratch very hard without realizing it and would end up with bleeding scratch lines. Honestly, I had trouble finding relief, too. I had some steroid cream stronger than benadryl (that I normally have because of my eczema) and the doc said I could put a teeny tiny amount in some lotion and rub it on my skin twice a day, but only if it was absolutely necessary. It helped a little. I also tried to be sure my belly was washed and moisturized with Aveeno lotion at least twice a day. I never did get full relief during my pregnancy, but it got a little better. Maybe if your doc gives you the okay, you could try oatmeal baths.

Hey!I also can sympathize,I was sooo itchy during my pregnancy especially when I was stretching!Besides, putting lotion frequently I found this stuff it's made by palmers cocoa butter formula~for dry Itchy skin with vitamin E,collagen and Elastin. It's in a spray bottle and you spray it on (it's oily so I used to put saran wrap over it),It helped so much!

Lotion. I used lotion 2 or 3 times a day. I recommend either Eucerin (the lotion, not necessarily the cream) or St Ives 24-hour. When I absolutely HAD to scratch, I scratched through my clothes so that I wouldn't break the skin or be grinding bacteria into my skin.
