So, I'm in my 35th week and my little guy is breech. At my ultrasound a little over a week ago he was head down, but at some point turned around. My OB has given me an "exercise" to do where I tip upside down to see if his butt will come out of my pelvis and he'll turn over when I stand back up. I have another ultrasound scheduled for next week and they'll try to turn him a few days later if he's still breech. I should also mention that my amniotic fluid is low side of normal. Not necessarily a concern yet, but it does give him less room to turn around, I suppose. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced a breech baby or one who turned a little later. If he's still breech, then I would have a c-section, which I really, really don't want (especially with having a 3yo and a 1yo at home). Any experience? Thoughts? Advice? Thanks!

My baby was breech during most of my pregnancy. He did end up turning a bit, but never did line up correctly. Though I was induced for two days, his head was not in the right position, so I never dilated. I ended up having a c-section. If you DO end up having to go with a c-section, don't stress. It's not as bad as you may think, though I know having two little ones at home will make things a little more difficult. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for the response! My ultrasound has been pushed back two weeks to the day after Labor Day. I thought he had turned a few days ago, but now I think I'm feeling his head again under my ribs. I have an appointment tomorrow, so hopefully my OB can give me news that he's turned. My first two had been head down for the longest time. I've heard that trying to turn the baby can be pretty painful, but I still don't want a c-section if I can avoid it. I guess we'll see...
