Flying after C-section

Hi,
My name is Maike - I have two little boys ages 5 years and 2 years. I'm expecting my third child in August. I was hoping someone could help me out.
Can anybody tell me when it is ok to fly after a C-section and why? I keep hearing different stories and I'm really confused now. One person told me I could fly immediately and another said I needed to wait about eight weeks. I'd call my Doctor, but their office is closed for the day.

The doctor generally recommends that you do not do any type of flying or driving
before your post-natel check up. I think for c-sections, this is generally at 6 or 8 weeks.
