Does anybody have any experience with UPromise (www.upromise.com)? I’m trying to decide if it’s worth providing them all the information they need to set up an account. Pretty invasive but no doubt necessary for what they’re trying to accomplish. I’m just concerned that there are more hoops to jump through or too many technicalities to get by to really allow you to ‘make’ any money for your child with them. I was hoping someone has an account currently and has positive or negative feedback about it. Thanks for the help.

I am currently using Upromise for all three of my children's accounts. I've been using it for about a year now and I see some benefit but not a lot. I strictly use my Upromise credit card to buy gas at Exxon stations (because I know I will receive benefits from Exxon) and don't worry about it anywhere else. It only works on some products at some stores... too much for me to keep up with. However, if you take the time to research the stores that support Upromise, and use them, I'm sure you would see more benefits than I want to take the time to reap. I think after this last year Upromise put less than 50 dollars of rewards back into my 529 plan. It's something, huh :) You can also get your parents, friends, etc to sign up their cards and get benefits from their use as well.
