Hello, i've been trying to find health insurance for myself, but unfortunately i cannot find health insurance because i have what they call a pre-existing condition. I'm pregnant. I'm out of ideas, because I refuse to rely on the government. Not that I'm above that, or better than help, but I work a good job, that i can afford the out of pocket insurance costs. I HAD insurance, but decided to take on a 2nd job a month before Christmas, and because of that, couldn't fill the mandatory hours at my primary job to keep my health insurance, so in turn, lost my coverage. I'm hoping by posting my question on a parenting forum, someone out there can help me out, and possibly point me in the right direction of where I can find health insurance for an already pregnant woman. I'm not single, I have a job, I'm 25, my fiance is 26. He also has a good job, but unfortunately he's a commission based salesman, so they don't offer health insurance for him either. I just don't want to be judged. I posted a question on Craigslist, and caught a lot of hell, for asking the same thing I'm asking here. I was called every name under the sun, and also called names for being pregnant and not already having health insurance, or not being married. But sometimes, life unfortunately doesn't always go in a specific order, but because of those reasons, doesn't mean I'm not going to be a great mother, and my fiance a great father. If there are any questions you have about my question, please feel free to ask. I'll give you whatever information you're looking for to get some helpful feedback. Also, I don't know if this helps when reading my thread, but we live in Las Vegas, NV. Everyone wants me to get on WIC and government assistance, but I don't see us doing that.
