I,m a first time mom and my son is 10 months old. I've been married for two years to a wonderful man, but don't really feel like i can talk to him about the "problems" in my life. He is about to leave for basic training w/ the national guard and for the last two weeks all we have done is fight. i mean about everything from how much we spend at the store to how much time tooroo spends with both grandmas. i'm just in need of someone to talk to about this kind of stuff.

You've come to the right place! :) Welcome; there are other military wives/moms on these boards who can commiserate, as well as us "plain" moms ;) to talk with about anything! Glad to have you join.

Welcome TooRoos mom. I’m glad you came here because it must be awful to have things bottled up inside. I felt like you until I found out about this site, ever since I can’t seem to stop doing threads. Feel free to start your own thread and moms with situations like yours will drop by and give you advice. It’s great to have people that you can relate with.

Hi TooRoos!!!
Welcome!! Congrats on your little blessing!! He is a cutie!!! I found this website the same way you did. I needed to get other Moms ideas and opinions. This website is great for that!! Other Moms on here have helped me tremendously. I hope they all can help you the way they have helped me!!! Even if you think the issue is silly, start a thread. You will be surprised how many other Moms may be in the same situation you are.
Take care!!!!

Welcome!

We talk about pretty much anything around here ... the great and the not-so-great days we have as parents.

Just find a discussion and jump right in!

Hi,

Sometimes if you try to change the way you do things in a kind way maybe he will fallow. We went through a real rough time when I had my first baby. My husband said I was a great mom but not a great wife. I was pissed at him until I realized he really was right. I didn't care about his needs anymore just the babies. After that I cooked a nice dinner had some fun in bed and wow he actually was helping out around the house! Mom's are ALWAYS taking care of everyone else....not sure
who takes care of us thats why it is so so important to try to escape and do something for you...If mom is happy everyone else seems to be too :)
