Good morning all!

My name is Gloria and I'm the mother of a beautiful 18 month old daughter named Avery. I love her to death but I figured it's about time I talk to some people with a vocabulary that consists of more than 14 words. I do have her dad but talking to him is sometimes the equivalent of talking to a brick wall. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I need other mommies! People who understand that I know theme songs to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and The Wonder Pets but have no idea what the hottest song on the radio is right now. Also hopefully people who understand all my crazy worries about parenting!

Welcome to the message boards. I have a son who has just turned 1. Yes, it is hard sometimes to carry on a conversation with a person who drools. He is my little buddy though. Are you a SAHM? My husband isn't a pillar of conversation either. But I think all men are like that ;) Anyways, welcome and hope to hear from you again!
