My daughter is a couple weeks shy of 14 months. By her first birthday she was off formula and the bottle and was drinking organic whole milk from a sippy cup with a straw. She only liked her baby food (Gerber 2nd foods); only two varietys - Sweet Potatoes and Turkey and Apples and chicken. She wont eat any other vegtables or fruits anymore. Every day is a struggle trying to get her to eat something, she is barely even liking her two variety's of baby food anymore. She eats her rice cereal every morning...and cheerios and low sodium crackers throughout the day, but introducing her to other foods isn't working. She's eat french fries once in a while, but I am not going to be making french fries everyday. She doesn't like real people food. I've tried many things and she just throws it on the floor, makes a face or spits it out. It's getting very difficult. Any suggestions?

A lot of ideas that I found on the internet and baby and toddler cookbooks are either stuff for older toddlers or ingredients that the dr. says a toddler shouldn't have at her age. Ingredients such as eggs, peanuts or honey. If anyone has any suggestions for a 14 month old friendly easy to eat foods, I would be very greatful.

My baby is 12mo old. My baby refuses to be spoon fed - he feeds himself (started around 10/11 mo) I give him regular food. One of the below posts is a bunch of finger food ideas, I use them all with my baby. I also give him what I can when I cook dinner.
here are those posts

Also, my baby has just started gobbling up a mixture I created. I cooked some brown rice, added several finely chopped veggies (green beans, peas, spinach and squash I think - may have added a little applesauce too, can't remember), and some cinnamon (to give it a sweeter taste). He gobbles it up.

Will she eat just plain apple sauce or plain sweet potatoes? If you could get her to eat those there are plenty of things you could start to mix in to them with out her noticing. Starting with small amounts of the other foods and gradually add in more. And if she likes french fries you could try sweet potato fries.
