Ok i'm 37 years old and I have 3 kids already. They are 20,15, and 7. My Fiance' and I are getting married August 1st and we want to start trying to have a baby. I'm really nervous about having a baby at my age. My Fiance' is 29 and he is a fantastic father to my children and we're excited and nervous at the same time. I need some advice, anyone???

First of all...congrats on bagging a younger man you cougar...

Second...before trying you should go see a fertility specialist to see If you can conceive.

But all in all congratulations on your new marriage. I hope all goes well!!!

First, think, you will be nearly 60 before the baby leaves the home.
But if you are up for that :-) then research and know the risks of having a baby over age 35 and how to mitigate those risks. Make sure your diet and lifestyle are as healthy as possible. For sure, talk to your doctor before you start trying, he may have some other advice for you.

Good luck

Windows cannot find null. I tried all the hot fixes, all the anti viruses.
I tried giving my laptop all the usual treatments: Anti virus. De frag. Updates. ALL of it. I tried putting in Firefox but when i do my laptop then tells me I have a Win sock error!
YAAAAARGH!

I agree with NewMom. Make sure you get all the info on the risks of pregnancy at your age - both for you and the baby. As your age goes up, so do the risks of certain birth defects. We went through IVF (unsuccessfully) when I was 35 and the doc went over all of that with us. We then adopted and have the most wonderful, beautiful son. Even though I'm in good shape, becoming a mom at 39 has been physically harder than I expected. So I'd recommend weight-lifting!

Don't let the risks scare you - the odds are low, and you have many testing options available early in the pregnancy. For a success story - my wife and I married when she was 38 and I was 37. She became pregnant at 39 and delivered a healthy baby one week shy of her 40th birthday. Boy is a happy 3-year old now, and we remain joyous first-time parents.

I know people who had their baby's at 40 and your just 37. My good friends were also trying and they're both 41... :)
