We just sold our house and had to move into a temporary place while our new house is getting finished. My 16 month old daughter is not handling the move very well. She has yet to sleep though the night...she is scard of the bath tub...she thoughs fits that she didn't used to do.
Has anyone run into anything similiar and how did you deal with it?

sorry I have not experienced that myself, but a friends thoughts are to make sure you surround her with as many familiar things as possible. Can you set up her sleeping area similar to before. Do you have the same toys in the bathtub? Just some thoughts. Good luck

Too late now but I've heard your suppose to prepare them as much as possible for the move. Talk about it, do things like buy 2 cheap doll houses and have one set of family move from one house to another. For now surround her with familar things and try bathing with her (wear bathing suit if your uncomfortable naked). Get in the tub and have hubby bring her in, sit there playing with toys and ask if she wants to join you after she sees how much fun you're having. I hope it works out for you!

Also when your house is done be sure to have her room ready before all others so she can settle in.

we just got done moving as well, and my dd had a hard time with it! It took me about 2 weeks to get her to sleep all night, she would wake up crying and I would go in give her a hug and a kiss let her look around for a min. then I would put her back down. She didn't have a hard time with the tub, so I can't help with that, but my dd hated going into the different rooms. So I put all her toys in the living room and would sit with her so she know that it was okay! That took a while for her to understand, and boy was it hard. So good luck! Just try to put all the common things that she's used to see near her..
