Is it possible that u can get your period during pregnancy??

The reason I asked is because I heard that it can happen like once (rarely) during pregnancy!

It happened to my mom while pregnant with my younger brother. She got her period her first 2 months of pregnancy without knowing that she was actually pregnant. The doctors thought she was just dealing with a nasty bug, but it turned out to be morning sickness. While in the hospital they decided to do a ultrasound and there it was my brother, they were concern that all the medicine she had taken was going to harm the baby but luckily he came out good and healthy.
