Okay Im 6 1/2 months pregnant and going on my 3rd! I have been feeling extreme backache and I have no idea to get rid of it! I feel like im already 9 months pregnant! I cant sit up for too long and I have a hard time going to sleep at night. I have never felt this much pain with my others and Im wondering if anybody has ANY suggestions on a nice harmless way to pop my back, or to atleast ease the pain!!!! Please help me!

Stretching..I have been having terrible backaches, and that has been the only thing that has eased it up. I am due in two weeks, exactly, and...I know what you mean.

I complained of back pain at my last appointment (26 weeks). My OB suggested getting a belly support band. Not sure of the exact name, but she said that it will redistribute the weight of your growing belly over your hips and will often help ease back pain. I haven't tried it yet myself, but I have thought about stretching. Maybe I'll give that a try first.

Thanks for the help, it actually helped alot! But now I have a different problem! I woke up this morning to go pee and when I wiped there was spotting! I dont know if this is normal! I swear none of this happened with my other pregnancies, I also have been getting little cramps here and there and sometimes I feel lke my stomach hardens up for a couple of seconds then goes away! I feel the baby move all the time...I dont know what to do, and I dont know if this is normal? Please Help!

I have the same problem - working at a desk all day makes it horribly uncomfortable - i've had to change my chair and basically lay back as far as i can so i'm not so verical - pelvis pains come and go all of the time and nightly lower back rubs are a must as well - like she's literally laying too low - dr did recommend that support thing as well for me and a friend of mine tried it and it worked. I havent checked out the prices yet but nothing is too much for my comfort for the next 4 months - maybe its 3rd baby syndrome or something because, like you, i was never this uncomfortable this early on...makes the next 4 months look so......

Well--I really don't think that you should be spotting. Just stretching isn't going to cause that to happen. I would check with you doctor immediately and get his imput. I don't know exactly what it could be, unless you were really straining yourself. [?]
