Im due in the next 5 weeks and im sooo confused on a name like i really love the name amariah because its unique but my baby father likes the name sailey. Yet im still havin second thoughts on other names. Some of the names i also like are cecilia, angelica, isabella, desiree, lola or maybe annalise... Im soo confused i need an opinion so badly!!!!

I think that amariah is really pretty. Have you chosen a middle name? Maybe let the father choose the middle name as a compromise. I found it hard to pick a name too, but I ended up with Evelynn Marie because it was unique and I had never met anyone with that name. Good luck to you.

I love the name Alessandra, but it is the name of my worst enemy (well her name is Alexandria, which means the same thing.) My name is Jessica, so I named my daughter Jessenia which means 'flower' so her room is all flowers. My kids fathers name is davey (a derivitive of the name david) so my sons name is Dawson which means 'son of david' I would suggest to anyone to do some research to find meaning to a name....you would be surprized at the names you fall in love with when you discover their meaning.

I LOVE the name Lola. I think it's really simple and beautiful. Deseree is my middle name, it's not bad. If we have a girl (although I want all boys) we would name her Eva Noel or Natalie Sophia. Picking a name can be so stressful! Trust me, I'm in the middle of it myself. :)

choosing a name can be stressful. it wasnt too terribly hard for my husband and i. we are also having a little girl, she will be here end of feb, beginnig of march.we decided to name her after both of us. his name is josh and my name is caitlin, so we just went with joselyn. joselyn victoria. victoria is my middle name also my aunt's name so. just go to your family tree, think of anyone who inspires you and use their names to inspire your own daughters name. thats what i did.. worked for us

My son's name was going to be Adam David, but my grandmother asked me something important two weeks before he was born. Her father's name was Alfonso. My husbands Great grandpa, grandpa, father, and him are all Alfonso. I mean...they go by something different but they're legally named Alfonso. So, my grandmother asked me to name him Alfonso. His name is Alfonso Adam...and we call him Adam.

I just thought it was a strange coincidence that BOTH sides of our family have this unusual name in the family.
