Going Potty on the toilet

My 3 year old son will go poop on the toilet no problem, but when it comes to going pee he refuses to do so. He tells me when he has to go poop, but will not tell me when he has to pee, i have tried cherrio's in the toilet, giving rewards, nothing seems to work. any help would be great.

In a somewhat similar situation. We have tried every situation that was given to us. Pretty much where we are at now is putting regular underwear on him and making sure he doesn't wet them, and asking him every so many minutes if he has to go pee pee. If he says no than I know he doesn't have to go, but if he gets quite or moves suddenly then he has to go so we hurry to the potty to let him do what he needs to. If he has an accident then he has to stay in them for a minute to see that it isn't cool to be wet. He had one and was trying to take them off that very second. Not sure how long this method will work but it is worth us trying.
