Hi mums!

Has anyone had problems when switching nappy brands? We've always used P*mpers with our daughter but a couple of weeks ago our supermarket had a great deal on H*ggies so we thought we'd try those. All was fine for a while but our daughter has now developed a horrible rash which isn't in the usual area, it looks like the nappy is rubbing around the tops of her legs and causing a rash.

Common sense says she's not getting on with the new nappies and I've now switched back to our usual ones, I just wondered if anyone else has had the same experience, do they get so used to one particular brand that changing it is a bad idea?

Thanks :)

Our daughter used Pampers just fine, but any other brand made her break out into horrible diaper rashes or hives. Pampers is one of the few brands that doesn't have any artificial perfumes

When we switched my oldest to a cheaper brand he had a horrible rash and ended up throwing the whole package away. My youngest can switch brands just fine though. I'm sure it's different from baby to baby but since you've found one that works and one that doesn't, I wouldn't switch again. Some babies just have more sensitve skin than others.
