My daughter will be 7 months in a couple weeks and has recently started rolling over before falling asleep - that is, rolling over to get our attention. We have the same bedtime routine for naps and night time. Lately, after I lay her down she'll fuss for 5 minutes then roll over onto her tummy, then start screaming. She doesn't know how to roll back onto her back yet so we're at a loss. We've tried letting her cry it out for a while but she spits up when she's on her tummy too long. Now, she's started doing it when she wakes up at 4 in the morning when I go in and tell her she's okay and to go back to sleep without nursing her. It's become her last ditch effort for attention. Last night, I went in, told her to go back to sleep, then she immediately started rolling over. I let her cry for about 20 minutes until she did her blood curdling cry. Then I went in and flipped her back over and had to place her close to the bumper (we got a breatheable bumper) so she wouldn't have room to roll. The whole ordeal went on and on for an hour and now we're all tired and she isn't napping well during the day. We've tried adjusting her bed time too but that didn't do any good. Any thoughts?
