Does anyone have a baby or toddler who just started walking but thier pants won't stay up? I have checked the local Babies R' Us and Toys R' Us and they don't carry little boys or girls belts. They carry belts for 5-10 years olds but what about my little skinny minny 16 month old boy whose pants won't stay on? I have found a couple websites that carry "designer" ones for $12-18.00, but who can afford that? Has this ever happened to you?

At that age, about the only pair of jeans I found that would fit my boys were Arizona Jeans from JC Penney. They cost a little more, but I wasn't constantly following them around yanking their pants up! Another thing that might work depending on the pants is folding the waist band over once. Good luck with the belt, I've never been able to find one either!

Have you tried Children's Place? I got my son's belt from there, and I think they have smaller sizes too. Pants also come now where you can adjust them. My oldest son has no butt and a small tummy so he cannot hold up his pants. I found these adjustable pants at Wal Mart and Childrens Place. I found them to be helpful too.

I <3 adjustable waist pants. Superguy has always been rail-thin and it's hard to find pants that fit him unless they are adjustable-waisted. I just pulled out some of his summer clothes from last year to see what still fit and what didn't. He's got a pair of shorts that he's worn for the last 2 summers and they STILL fit. Granted, his legs are so long now they're starting to resemble hotpants but they still fit his waist.

I also love the Children's Place. They have very affordable clothing and adjustable waists for almost every size kid's clothing. My 6 year old is tall enough that she needs size 7/8 jeans but is skinny and has no butt, lol, and children's place is the only place I've found jeans and pants that will fit her.

My children are tall and thin, and we always had this problem, to go out and find belts was difficult so my solution was take some older belts of mine and my husband cut them and drill more holes in them. Works out perfect especially the ones that were worn to much because that is the part that get cut off! For me unless it is really on sale I don't shop at Childrens Place, I find it a bit to expensive for my budget

My son is super skinny so ALL of his pants and shorts fall down. I just end up folding the back of his waistband over once, and it seems to do the trick. Belts are too much of a pain to worry about when you're changing diapers.

I have the same problem with my little girl. She is very skinny and very tall. So what my MIL and I do is just sew her pants alittle to make them alittle tighter on her and then they don't fall off. We have to do this for pants, shorts, pj's and the bottoms to dresses. Sometimes it is a pain to sew but it beats having to pull up their pants constantly

Is there a Rainbow for children where you live? I just recently bought a belt for my son who is 2 months old. The belt only cost me $3, it was just wide enough to go in the loops. The belt was long since it was for old kids so I cut it and you cant even tell it look like its really a baby belt. It also has alot of holes so it makes it adjustable.
