In the past, any multivitamins made me sick as hell, so when the time came to talk to my doc about prenatals i thold her this. She advised taking flintstones, so that's what I've been doing. But they too make me somewhat queasy - not horrible, but just enough to where I'm uncomfy. I hate to admit, but sometimes I just don't take them b/c I don't want to feel sick. I've told my doc this, but now tthat I'm further along I feel like I should be taking prenatals religiously. I drink lots of juice and eat fruits and vegs loaded with vitamins and minerals, but of course I still worry. In a world full of processed junk, I worry that my baby isn't getting enough nutrition. Anyone take a prenatal that doesn't make them sick and has had a history with being sick while taking vitamins?

I am the queen of getting sick! lol I skipped most of my prenatals with the girls because I was simply soooo sick when I took them. It did help taking them right before I went to bed. I was usually so exhausted that I fell right to sleep and the nausea didn't wake me up. This time, I was prescribed PreNexa, and it made me way less sick. And taking it before bed made it very do-able. Good luck!

I take Womens One a Day Prenatals. They work well with me and I tipically get sick when pregnant. I take them in the morning and they don't even make me nasuous. Good luck!!

My sister took the kids gummy vitamins because the prenatals made her sick. If I took the prenatals in the morning they made me sick, so I took them at night and had no problems, maybe it has something to do with having something in your stomach beforehand.

You have my sympathies. When I was pregnant, I just took folic acid in the beginning because I was so nauseous. Its a small pill.

Now that I am breastfeeding, I still take my prenatal vitamin, which happens to be one I helped to create! I wish I had it during that first trimester. It is S7 Prenatal Drink Mix. It is easy to swallow and settles easily. Contains ginger and extra vitamin B6 for nausea, plus electrolytes to help maintain hydration.

Our clients who are pregnant with nausea have had success with it.
You can buy it at www.drinkS7.com.

Good luck.
