My son is nine years old and I want to him internet savvy. I want him to familiarize himself with internet operations as knowledge of the internet is a must these days. And I think he is in the right age for this. But I am also aware of the hazards of internet usage
and would like to safeguard my child from them. So I had chosen to have Kidsemail.org (http://www.kidsemail.org/) to have a safe email service for my kids. What yours view? Lets share it..

My kids learn about the internet and how to be internet "savvy" at school and that is fine with me. At 9 my son has no need for email, so I wouldn't see myself needing such a service. I may be old fashioned, but I don't think kids need to have their own email account, cell phones, or lap tops. If a friend needs to email something to my son, it goes through my account, no exceptions!
