Is it safe to microwave baby bottles that are 100% BPA, & Phelate free? Not sure if that is spelled correctly:) i do have a bottle warmer too but sometimes use the microwave if not at home

The bad thing about the microwave is that it can create hot spots which can burn your baby's mouth. The best way to do it if you don't have your bottle warmer is to run it under hot water while turning it to heat all the contents.

What I did at grandma's house or other homes when I didn't have my bottle warmer was heat a big cup of water in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Then I'd put the bottle in the cup of water to heat it up, this way the water was very, very hot and heated the bottle nicely.
Zack Jenn is right about not heating the bottle itself in the microwave as it could burn your baby.
Just had another idea, I'd do this at night or when going to the park. Take a bottle with just water, it wouldn't need refrigeration or heating as it's just water. Put your formula in a little container, add it to the water at feeding time, shake and serve.

not a good idea - it can make hot spots and chage the nutrient composition, at least for breast milk.
