Hi everyone! I've got two little ones I'm constantly chasing around and taking care of and whenever I get the chance I try to go for a run or try to sneak off to the gym while my DH watches them to try and shed this baby weight! I'm definitely not a fan of pads and am wary of the TSS warning that comes with cotton tampons (plus stick one of those in water for more than 4 hours and see what's left behind, gross.)
Enter Instead Softcups. (I know I know, it's all I talk about but I am in love with this product, my only regret is not finding out about them sooner.) They're a menstrual cup that you insert like a tampon. The cup is held beneath your cervix and your flow collects for up to 12 hours; no heavy diaper feeling, no residue left behind, no strings or wings hanging out...they're comfortable, safe and easy to use. I get mine at Wal Mart, although must big drugstores carry them as well as their own website.
Just wanted to share with everyone, with so much to take care of with 2 little ones feeling uncomfortable on my period is the last thing I need. Off to the gym ladies, good luck!
