18 month old and his new sister

I have an 18 month old son who has been having meltdowns going to daycare all of a sudden. Actually ever since his sister was born 2 weeks ago. He used to love to go to daycare and was so excited about seeing his friends and playing on the slide. But things have changed ever since we brought his sister home. Now all of a sudden he starts screaming as we pull into the parking lot and says no go mommy or daddy! My heart just breaks when I hear him so upset. He used to love it but I think he realizes that mommy is home with baby and wants to be with me and his sister. For the last two weeks we have been having a hard time dropping him off now and don't know how to handle it.

Any advise you can give us would be great!
