I am pregnant again and my 14 month old son still breastfeeds. I have heard that some babies will wean themselves when mommy is prego. What were your experiences with breastfeeding and pregnancy?

I don't have any experience with bfing while pregnant, but here is a good link :)

(sorry, I'm link-happy today!) FWIW, I hear many babes will self wean around the 4-5 month mark because the bm changes flavor, but not all of them do. The above talks about it as well has how to tandem nurse or how to gently wean if it's too much for you (like you're too tired or your breasts are extra-tender, etc.).

My DD self-weaned at the age of 21 months when I was about 3 months along. I certainly hadn't been encouraging her nursing cos I was so sick and exhausted, and I do think my milk changed. Now I'm expecting again and weaned DS-18mo by just reducing feedings to almost nothing and then leaving for a weekend. :D He had one bad crying jag when I refused him when I got home, and then forgot about it forever after. =-) Bittersweet, I can tell you... I have considered tandem nursing but it just hasn't been for me, and since the others were over 2 when the new one was born, it just seemed unnecessary to me, but I'd admire anyone going for that choice too. Good luck!
