One of my twin boys, Aaron, has a flat spot on the back of his head, and his pediatrician has suggested that we start putting him on his side to sleep at night, problem is, he won't stay that way....we've tried rolled up blanket, a sleep positioner, etc...but haven't had any luck. I recently found a product called the "Symmetry Sleep System" by Basic Comfort and wanted to know if anyone has used this and how they liked it?

HI, I haven't ever used the product, but my son also had a flat side. We just did exercises by turning his head ( you can ask a therapist/dr on what exercises to do), it worked well. We can tell he still has some flatness, but nothing noticeable. He's 2 now.

I have identical twin girls. One slept on her back, the other only slept on her stomach (I know- gasp. I'm totally over it by now). It is interesting to see how it has shaped their appearance. The girl that slept on her back had a head as flat as a table for a few months. Her face is now wider than the other twin. They look the same- but different.

Don't worry about the flat head thing. It's just going to happen. Babies each have a separate way they like to sleep. It's hard to change that.
